Along with Yirgacheffe, Ethiopian Sidamo coffee has a reputation for being high grown and of high quality.

Local smallholders grow heirloom varietals locally known as Kumie, Diga and Wilsho. Sidamo is a large area in highlands of the Rift Valley. This coffee is naturally processed which means they have been, as traditionally done, laid out on drying beds. This method is used in other countries too but stems from Ethiopia.

Tasting Notes: Fruity, intensely aromatic, with wine-like acidity and hints of cocoa.
